When I was still living in Methana I was sometimes disappointed that there was no information for foreign visitors. So the most people on their way to Poros or Egina island didn´t know that there were so many things to be discovered on Methana peninsula. One day I found a old rosty map between two houses near the police station of Methana. I decided to draw a new map of Methana with better details. It was a lot of painting but in March 1994 this map was ready.

It took a long time until the new mayor Panagiotis Lambrou took the map and placed it at the entrance to Methana town (near the Spa). He was the only mayor who was interested in the foreign people living on Methana.

It seems to be a wonder that this map is still existing...
