3D-Map of Methana

When I meet Lorenz Hurni 1991 on  my way to the village of Vathy I did not know, that he was producing one of the best topographical maps of Europe. In the following years I supported Lorenz with photographs and my knowledge about Methana and the Greek language. In 1995 the topographical map of Methana in a scale of 1:25000 was printed. It was a great result for Methana.
But Lorenz didn´t stop and he transferred his knowledge to his students at the Swiss university ETH in Zurich. So the digital data of the map was first used by Heiko Mundle to program the threedimensional map of Methana (VRML).
This 3D-map was usable until 2 years ago, because most PC do not have the Cosmo-Player.exe installed.
So Andreas Gauer , again at the university ETH, re-programed the 3D-Map.
All these products were not estimated by the "local government" at Methana and so everything is well-known only by insiders.
